Gaziantep Airport City Centre and Hotel Transfer

Gaziantep Airport · Branch service

Chauffeured VIP transfer from Gaziantep Airport to hotels in Şahinbey and Şehitkamil. Flight tracking, name-sign meet and greet, fixed. Book with EcrinVIP.

Ask anyone who has landed late at Gaziantep Airport and they will tell you the flight was the easy part. The airport sits outside the city towards Oğuzeli, and the hotel you booked might be a restored stone mansion on a lane below the castle or a business hotel on a wide boulevard in Şehitkamil. Our Gaziantep Airport hotel transfer is built around that difference. EcrinVIP tracks your flight, meets you in arrivals with a name sign and drives you door to door to your hotel in Şahinbey or Şehitkamil in a chauffeured car.

Delayed? Fine. Your chauffeur moves to the new landing time, and the wait costs you nothing.

What a Gaziantep Airport city centre transfer actually looks like

We take your flight number when you book, so the landing time is on our screen long before you reach the gate. Early arrivals and late ones are handled the same way: the chauffeur adjusts. You walk out of baggage reclaim and your name is already on a sign at the arrivals exit.

From there it is a short walk to the car, and we help with the bags. The route is settled before you sit down — the hotel’s exact name, which street the entrance faces, whether the car can pull up to the door or has to stop a little short. Need water, a phone charger or a cooler cabin? Just ask. Some guests want a quiet ride after a long day; others want to chat about where to eat. Both are fine with us.

What we see on late-night arrivals rarely changes. People want a bed, not decisions. For night transfers we suggest you confirm late check-in with the hotel beforehand. Send us the hotel name on WhatsApp and we will share the chauffeur’s expected arrival with you and, if useful, with the front desk.

Şahinbey or Şehitkamil: why the address changes the plan

Central Gaziantep is split between two large districts, and their streets behave very differently. It is the first thing we look at when a booking comes in.

  • Şahinbey, around the castle: Some of the stone houses near Gaziantep Castle, the Coppersmiths’ Bazaar (Bakırcılar Çarşısı) and Zincirli Bedesten now operate as boutique hotels. The lanes are narrow and some are pedestrian-first. We identify the closest point the car can reach and walk you and your luggage to the door.
  • Şahinbey, the commercial streets: City hotels around İnönü Caddesi are easier to reach, though traffic thickens in the early evening.
  • Şehitkamil: Chain hotels, office blocks and newer residential areas. Wide roads, and most hotels have a drop-off bay.
  • Near the university or hospitals: If you are staying close to the Gaziantep University campus or one of the large hospitals, we confirm which gate to use. On big sites, the wrong gate wastes real time.
  • Serviced apartments and rentals: Unmarked buildings are best handled with a WhatsApp location pin; your chauffeur drives straight to the entrance.
  • Staying with family or friends: Send the neighbourhood and street name. If the housing complex has a security gate, we note that too.

The most common gap in booking notes? A neighbourhood written where the hotel’s full name should be. Share the hotel name and the address from your booking confirmation and we can plan the right route from minute one. With chain hotels that have two branches in the city, that detail is the difference between the right door and the wrong side of town at midnight.

Adding meetings, family needs and short stays to one booking

Getting from the airport to the hotel is often just the first link in the trip. Business travellers want the meeting the next morning, dinner in the evening and the ride back to the hotel afterwards. Rather than hunting for a car each time, you can add hourly hire to the same booking. The chauffeur and vehicle stay with you; if a meeting overruns or moves, a WhatsApp message is enough.

Family visits bring different needs. More suitcases, a pushchair, a child seat. Child seats are an extra; tell us the child’s age and rough weight and we will fit the right one. Larger families often find a Sprinter more comfortable than a Vito, and because pricing is per vehicle rather than per person, the share for each traveller naturally drops as the group grows.

Weekend visitors usually ask the same question: once we are at the hotel, how do we get to dinner? From the hotels around the castle, many restaurants and bazaar streets are within walking distance. For something further out, we can plan a separate in-city ride. City tours and business programmes are run by our Gaziantep branch as separate services; this page covers arrivals from the airport and the trip back to it.

Getting back to Gaziantep Airport on time

The return leg needs more planning than the arrival. A missed flight is hard to fix, so we work backwards from your departure time together with you.

  1. Send your flight number and departure time, and tell us whether it is domestic or international.
  2. Review the pick-up time we suggest based on your hotel’s location, the time of day and expected traffic.
  3. If hotel check-out is well before pick-up, ask the hotel whether you can leave luggage at reception.
  4. The evening before, you receive the chauffeur’s name, plate number and phone number on WhatsApp.
  5. Your chauffeur waits at the hotel entrance at the agreed time; if you would rather meet in the lobby, we add that to the notes.
  6. You are dropped at the departures entrance, and we help carry your luggage to the terminal door.

Early-morning flights are easy: the city is quiet and the road flows. Late afternoons are different, and leaving Şehitkamil can take longer. We will not quote an exact number of minutes because it would not be honest; the buffer we suggest depends on traffic and time of day. During public holidays we also allow for busier terminals.

Vehicles, payment and invoices

For solo travellers and small parties, the Mercedes Vito VIP offers comfortable seating and plenty of luggage space. The difference between Business and Executive is in the cabin fit-out; guests who want to open a laptop on the way tend to choose Executive. Families or teams that outgrow a Vito travel in a Mercedes Sprinter VIP, and larger groups in a midibus or coach. Every EcrinVIP vehicle is cleaned and its air conditioning checked before each transfer.

Prices are per vehicle, not per person, and confirmed in writing before the transfer. Pay in the car by cash or card, or by bank transfer in advance. We issue corporate invoices for company travel and set up contracts for teams that fly in regularly. If your flight changes or the trip is cancelled, let us know as early as you can and we will rebuild the plan around the new time.

Gaziantep Airport hotel transfer: common questions

How long does the transfer from Gaziantep Airport to the city centre take?

It depends on which district your hotel is in, the time of day and traffic. Because the airport lies outside the city towards Oğuzeli, the drive starts like a short intercity link and then joins city traffic as you get closer to the centre. Nights and early mornings are usually smoother. Give us your hotel name when booking and we will share an estimated arrival window for that time.

Do I pay extra if my flight is delayed?

No. We hold your flight number, so we follow the landing time and send your chauffeur at the new time. A delay or an early landing does not change the price, and waiting is never added to the bill. All you need to do is give us the correct flight number when booking. If your flight moves to another day entirely, just message us on WhatsApp.

Can the car reach a boutique hotel in the old bazaar area?

Not always to the door. Some lanes around the castle and the Coppersmiths’ Bazaar are narrow or pedestrian-first. In that case we identify the closest point the car can reach and tell you in advance. Your chauffeur drops you there and walks with you and your luggage to the hotel entrance. If the hotel recommends a particular meeting point, we use that.

Is a Gaziantep Airport VIP transfer priced per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. Everyone up to the capacity of the car you choose travels for the same price, so a solo traveller and a family of four pay the same for a Vito. The price is confirmed in writing at booking and does not change during the trip. Extras such as child seats are stated clearly before you confirm.

Do you meet flights that land after midnight?

Yes, we work around the clock, every day. For flights landing at midnight or in the small hours, your chauffeur still waits in arrivals with a name sign. We recommend confirming late check-in with your hotel. The chauffeur’s details and plate number reach you on WhatsApp before landing, so the message is waiting when you switch your phone back on.
