Cukurova Airport to Tarsus Industrial Zone Business Transfer

Çukurova Airport · Branch service

Business transfers from Cukurova Airport to Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone and nearby plants. Invoiced service for visitors, auditors. Book with EcrinVIP.

On a factory visit, time is rarely lost in the meeting room. It is lost on the road. An audit team that lands in the morning but cannot reach the plant until lunchtime throws the whole day off. Cukurova Airport sitting in Tarsus is a lucky break for the region’s industry: with a Tarsus industrial zone transfer, your team can be at the plant gate soon after touchdown. Our job is to make that “soon after” run smoothly, from the plate number at the security gate to the invoice at the end of the month.

Say “Cukurova Airport Tarsus transfer” and most people picture the town centre. In reality, the airport sits right in the middle of the industrial belt between Mersin and Adana. Tarsus Organised Industrial Zone, the Mersin-Tarsus Organised Industrial Zone, the industrial areas towards Adana, Mersin Port and the Mersin Free Zone are all along the same corridor. EcrinVIP drives the engineers, auditors, buyers and installation crews who come to work at these sites.

Who books a Tarsus industrial zone transfer: six typical visits

Corporate bookings tend to fall into a handful of patterns, and each calls for a different vehicle and schedule.

  • Customer or supplier audit — a team of two or three, one day, morning arrival and evening flight out. A dedicated Vito is usually the answer.
  • Machine installation and commissioning — a technical crew with tool cases and sometimes boxes of spare parts, over several days, hotel to plant every morning and back every evening.
  • Overseas buyer visit — an executive or purchasing delegation from abroad. Meet and greet, plant tour, dinner and hotel, all with one chauffeur.
  • Dealer or supplier meeting — participants flying in from different cities on the same day. Several cars or a single Sprinter, depending on the flight list.
  • Port and free zone connection — a plant visit followed by a second meeting at Mersin Port or the Free Zone. Two locations in one day.
  • Recurring technical support → service engineers who come in at regular intervals, with repeat transfers planned in advance under a contract.

Dedicated car or one-way transfer?

This is the question corporate clients ask most. The answer depends on the schedule, but one rule of thumb holds: if there are more than two moves in a day, a dedicated car is almost always simpler.

With a one-way transfer, the chauffeur drops you at the plant and leaves. The evening return is a separate booking, and if the meeting overruns you have to get in touch again to move the time. With a dedicated car, the chauffeur stays with you all day. Plant, hotel, lunch, a second meeting and the airport, all with the same car, the same chauffeur and the same boot. Samples, laptops and presentation material stay safely in the vehicle.

Running late? Tell your chauffeur and the booking is extended by the hour. The price stays fixed per vehicle, with extensions charged under terms we share in advance.

Plant access, visitor registration and security procedures

Most factories in the organised industrial zones register visitors at the gate. Some want the vehicle plate in advance, some also record the driver’s ID, and some ask visitor cars to stay at the gate while an internal shuttle takes over. It varies from site to site.

So we share the chauffeur’s name and the plate before the visit, and you can pass them on to plant security. If the site has its own procedure, such as a specific gate, set hours for vehicle entry or a safety briefing, please confirm it with the plant management. We then build the schedule around it. The same caution applies to the port and the free zone: entry rules are set by the relevant authority, so check in advance.

Corporate transfers in Tarsus: contracts, invoices and visitor lists

A company visiting once and a company sending teams every month should not work the same way. For regular corporate clients, we set things up like this:

  1. We sign a corporate agreement with your company details, with vehicle types and prices written into it.
  2. Before each visit, you send one list with passenger names, flight numbers and programme times.
  3. We assign vehicles and chauffeurs from that list and send back a confirmation.
  4. The day before, plate and chauffeur details go to you and, if you want, directly to plant security.
  5. Guests are met with a sign showing their name or your company name, and your contact person gets a message when they are on board.
  6. At the end of the month, every transfer is closed on one invoice, itemised by date, route and passenger.

For one-off visits we still issue invoices in your company’s name. You can pay in the car by card or cash, or by bank transfer.

Vehicles for technical crews: where do the tool cases go?

On this route a regular car is often not enough. A three-person installation team might bring heavy tool cases, measuring equipment or sample boxes on top of their personal luggage.

The Mercedes Vito VIP, with its large boot, carries most small technical teams comfortably. For bulky equipment or a bigger crew, we recommend a Mercedes Sprinter VIP. Trade fairs, dealer meetings and group factory tours call for a midibus or coach. Just tell us the approximate size and number of items when you book and we will pick the vehicle. Hazardous goods or materials needing special handling cannot travel as part of a passenger transfer; those need a cargo solution.

Then there is the flight home. Visits overrun, meetings drag on. Because your chauffeur follows the programme, they will remind you of the latest time you can leave the plant and still make your flight comfortably.

On multi-day programmes, where you stay shapes the transfer plan too. A team based in central Tarsus reaches the plant by a short route, while a team staying in Yenişehir in Mersin or in Adana has a longer drive every morning. Which makes more sense depends on the site and your evening plans. Talk to us before booking the hotel and we can work out morning pick-up times and daily routes together.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the transfer from Cukurova Airport to Tarsus OSB?

Because the airport lies within the Tarsus district, Tarsus OSB and the surrounding plants are relatively close. The actual journey time still depends on where the plant sits inside the zone, which gate you use and the time of day, especially traffic around shift changes. Rather than quote fixed minutes, we share an approximate arrival time for your specific site when you book and build the schedule around it.

Do you issue company invoices for factory visit transfers?

Yes. For one-off visits we invoice your company directly, and for regular corporate clients we offer a contract with one monthly invoice. Invoices list dates, routes and passengers, which makes expense reporting straightforward. You can pay in the car by card or cash, or settle corporate accounts by bank transfer. Prices are per vehicle, so the number of people on board does not change the fare.

Can we get the plate and chauffeur details in advance for plant security?

Yes. The vehicle plate, the chauffeur’s name and phone number are shared the day before the visit, and we can send them straight to plant security if you prefer. If the site has a specific entry procedure, such as a particular gate or ID registration, please confirm it with the plant management and let us know. We will adjust the schedule to fit.

Will the car wait if our meeting in Tarsus runs late?

If you booked a dedicated car, the chauffeur stays with you for the whole programme and keeps waiting when a meeting overruns. To extend by the hour, just tell your chauffeur or our operations line. With a one-way transfer, you will need to send us a new return time instead. If your day involves more than one move, a dedicated car is usually the more practical choice.

Can you provide an English-speaking chauffeur for our overseas buyers?

Yes, simply request an English-speaking chauffeur in the booking notes. We can also put your company name or logo on the meet and greet sign. Your contact person gets a WhatsApp update when the guests are met and when they board. Planning the plant tour, dinner and hotel moves with a single chauffeur gives your visitors a consistent experience from arrival to departure.
